A certified social responsibility approach

Our aim is to cultivate our vineyard respecting the earth, people and biodiversity. We cant to offer you a sustainable wine of pleasure. Cooperative Winery of Rauzan Rauzan have obtained the exemplary level of committed CSR assessment (ISO 26000) and since the summer 2019 is the only wine-making company in Bordeaux labellized “Sustainable Winegrowing of France”.Based on demanding specifications, the label “Sustainable Winegrowing of France”.is audited by AFNOR every 18 months. It is based on the ISO 26000 standard, an international reference recognized by more than 100 countries for sustainable development and CSR. More than an environmental approach, it is a true philosophy of sustainability that is defended.

In addition, 40% of our vineyard is certified “High Environmental Value” in 2019 & 100% of the vineyard is certified Agriconfiance.

Our vineyard has more than 200 ha certified organic.

Ecodesign

Since 2010, more than 85% of our bottles have been lightened (405 g compared to 500 g on average for Bordeaux bottles) with a reduced carbon footprint. These bottles are made 100% from recycled glass.Since 2010, 90% of our corks are made of natural cork.We have reduced the number of references of our capsules to return to the standard “B of Bordeaux & thus limit production pollution linked to the explosion in the number of references of capsules. From 2018, we have evolved our cardboard towards a more responsible model: we have chosen a cardboard 100% recycled & without bleaching treatment, made 100% in Gironde, FSC certified. We have limited the solid areas of color, however leaving the long sides in pink, to keep our image and progress gradually. This cardboard is also compostable.
